Winning Customers, investors, employees (& your spouse)

Building the story of your business
You would think explaining your business is the easiest thing you can do. The confused looks, mis-aligned or disengaged employees, lack of investment or customers, and a frustrated
spouse may say otherwise. Conversely, when you get the right story for your business, you will have those you talk to referring others and making valuable introductions, you will find it easier to get investors and win customers, your team will be excited and tell others about working there, and your spouse will be happy*.
Most pitches and explanations are jargony, too long, uninteresting, and not engaging. Join us to create the best way to talk about your business. We will help you to understand your business better, who the client is and isn’t, how to explain it clearer to those listening, and get investors and customers excited to engage.
You will build a short plan, a three-sentence pitch, a one-sentence pitch, and own a couple words on google.
*I can’t promise a happy spouse. This will get you a lot closer, though.
About the facilitator:
Colin has started, sold, failed, grown and invested in businesses over the last 20+ years. Through this, he curated a freely accessible model called The Whole Entrepreneur – with the crazy goal of defeating the unnecessary failure in entrepreneurship worldwide. The book of the same name is being published. He has successfully raised over $5m personally and helped others to also raise millions. Including a 10-minute pitch that raised $500,000 and another that raised $1,500,000.
While his day job is helping entrepreneurs from startup to $20M build meaningful profit and love their life through his business THNQ, he is also launching a pilot project for microlending and entrepreneur development in Central America, and reinventing drywall.
