Building the story of your business
You would think that explaining that your business is the easiest thing you can do. The confused looks, mis-aligned or disengaged employees, lack of investment or customers, and a frustrated
spouse may say otherwise.
Conversely, when you get the right story for your business, you will have those you talk to referring others and making valuable introductions, you will find it easier to get investors and win
customers, your team will be excited and tell others about working there, and your spouse will be happy*.
Most pitches and explanations are jargony, too long, uninteresting, and not engaging.
Join us to create the best way to talk about your business – to everyone!
We will help you to understand your business better, who the client is and isn’t, how to explain it clearer to those listening, and get investors and customers excited to engage. You will build a short plan, a three-sentence pitch, a one-sentence pitch, and how to own a couple of words on google.
*I can’t promise a happy spouse. This will get you a lot closer, though.
About your Facilitator:
Colin has started, sold, failed, grown and invested in businesses over the last 20+ years. Through this experience, he designed a freely accessible model called The
EntrepreneurRoadmap.ca – with the crazy goal of defeating the unnecessary failure in entrepreneurship worldwide. The book of the same name is being published.
He has successfully raised over $5m personally and helped others to also raise millions. Including a 10-minute pitch that raised $500,000 and another that raised $1,500,000.
While his day job is helping entrepreneurs ranging from startups to $20M enterprises build meaningful profit and love their life through his business THNQ, he is also launching a pilot
project for microlending and entrepreneur development in Central America, and is reinventing drywall.
