The Speaker: Milena Radakovic

Mrs. Milena Radakovic is the President and owner of Nexus Exhibits Ltd. which, over its 35 years in existence, has become one of western Canada’s premier trade show companies. Her passion for small business, trade shows and visual marketing has continued to grow during her 25 plus years of professional experience. Milena graduated with an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and has a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business.

Prior to joining Nexus in 2010, she ran her own consulting company providing marketing and business development strategies to her clients. During her career in the Oil & Gas and Technology industries she established her credentials as VP Marketing for RS Technologies, Director of Marketing at BW Technologies; a Honeywell Company, and Manager, Mid-Commercial Markets at Enmax Energy.

She is a board member of the Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) and former board member of Organization of Women In International Trade (OWIT). Currently she is the Ambassador of the Women in Leadership Foundation (WIL), a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women in leadership roles, which she helped start the Calgary Chapter in 2012. Milena’s commitment and passion for this cause is constantly in focus as she helps lead WIL to deliver innovative programming to thousands of women across Canada. She was awarded the “Presidents Volunteer Champion” Award by the Women in Leadership Foundation (WIL), received University of Calgary’s  2016 WRC Distinction Alumna award, honouring her outstanding leadership in striving to improve the community. and recently received the Business Leader in Calgary Award.
