Thursday, April 26 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
ATB Entrepreneur Centre, Lethbridge
Employees are an awesome addition to any business on the grow. As such this should be an exciting time for an organization, and not another headache. For most businesses, human capital becomes the greatest expenditure, and to retain a great team, accurate and consistent payment methods need to be in place.
If you are looking to pay just your nanny or a staff of 50, payroll no longer needs to be an area of confusion. With business operations moving away from traditional brick and mortar models, to that of having everything controlled off your phone, it only makes sense to have the same capabilities for processing payroll.
We have come a long way from the days of payroll taking hours to calculate, writing cheques by hand and frequent visits to the bank. All to still be worried that you may not be completely compliant with the Canadian Revenue Agency’s standards.
During this session, we will dive into the myths and misconceptions surrounding payroll for small businesses. Discussing how payroll should be a confident area of your business that can grow and adapt with the changing times to greatly impact the culture of your employees. We will work through the most common issues and questions encountered by small business owners, in turn removing the figurative veil that has previously prevented business owners from feeling confident in handling their own payroll.
