About your facilitator: Robert E. Smith
Rob Smith is an Edmonton commercial lawyer with over 15 years of experience in the areas of corporate commercial law, wills and estate and intellectual property including some experience with trademark and copyright law. Mr. Smith completed his undergraduate degree at the University of
Alberta and obtained his law degree at the University of Durham in the United Kingdom.
Apart from his legal responsibilities, Mr. Smith also has a creative side to his resume, having spent 10 years working in the film and television industry in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has also served on numerous volunteer boards. Mr. Smith returned to Alberta from Vancouver in 2005 and has been engaged in the practice of law of law since that time.
Apart from real estate and wills and estates, Mr. Smith advises numerous corporations on an ongoing basis. He particularly enjoys assisting new business owners with respect to setting up and incorporating their companies.
