About your Facilitators:
Bob has been a partner at Hahn & Houle LLP Chartered Accountants since 2004. Prior to that, Bob was an Assurance Partner at Grant Thornton LLP for 14 years. Bob has been a Chartered Accountant since 1982 and his practice focuses on accounting services, process improvement consulting, lean accounting and business valuation advisory services for construction, manufacturing and professional service companies. Bob has taught in areas of Practice Management, Analytical Procedures and Quality Assurance. He has also been the Treasurer for numerous foundations and associations. Bob has always had a desire for improving processes in business and in his life as well as the lives of those around him. He is passionate about building a lean culture and empowering others to look around and ask: “How can we do things differently.”Bob also has a keen interest in Angus Cattle, Tennis, Border Collies, Sailing and Scotch.
Trevor joined Hahn & Houle LLP Chartered Accountants in March 2016. Prior to that, Trevor was an Assurance Partner at Ernst & Young LLP for over 6 years after his previous local Edmonton firm, Veres Picton & Co. LLP, joined them in October 2009. Trevor has been a Chartered Accountant since 2000 and has extensive experience working with a wide range of private companies, not-for-profit organizations and public companies. Over the years, Trevor has developed a proven ability to provide meaningful financial accounting, taxation and general business advisory services to his clients. He has also been the Treasurer for various not-for-profit organizations and is keenly interested in his community through his volunteer commitments. Trevor is intensely focused on building meaningful relationships with clients, staff and colleagues and helping them solve any burning problems they may encounter. In his spare time, Trevor enjoys travelling with his wife and two children, golfing, camping and generally enjoying all the great things our city has to offer.
