You have worked very hard to get your company to where it is today as such, why would you want to take a chance of losing it if something unexpected happens? Join John Couture as he goes over the three things you need to have in place to make sure your legacy is secure.  In this workshop, John will discuss:
  • Partnership Agreements
  • Buy Sell Agreement
  • Succession Planning
The Speakers: John Couture, Insurance Advisor at ATB and Thomas Wimmer, MBA, CFP, CLU Director, Business Development

Service to his clients has become second nature to John over the past 35 years working in the financial services arena. John’s goal has always been to find the best solution possible for his clients – customizing the product and services to suit their requirements.

Whether customizing a plan for individuals or businesses, small or large, John’s approach is always the same. Getting to know people is the first and most important step in the process. Understanding their needs, wants and goals and learning about their families and /or businesses forms a large part of customizing those plans.

Thomas supports advisors in the region by providing them with the resources, tools and education to enhance and maximize their ability to deliver creative solutions to clients. Thomas’ focus is to promote sales and business development in the broad market to ensure that advisors have access to the skills and support required for each of their cases. Thomas joined PPI in 2015 with over eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry including serving in a regional sales management role for one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. Thomas received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 1998, and subsequently obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2004 and his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2017
