About your Facilitator: Lynn Ludwig, CPM

Even early in my career, I had to know every single thing about payroll, benefits, people and systems. Why aren’t these people paid the same way? Why do we have so many systems and different rules? Why do I have a spreadsheet and use a system? It didn’t make sense, increased errors and it wasted time. I attained my CPM designation with Canadian Payroll Association certification. Plus worked in different industries; such as healthcare, care giver, retail, non-profits, insurance, and construction, both union and non-union environments for over 20 years.

Throughout those roles the common theme was to streamline and correct payroll processes, which often involved system upgrades. This education and experience is reflected in PayHub’s versatility. Systems and processes are important, but so too are people and the change process within an organization. Implementing a new system (or two!) is no small task and not for the faint of heart; a successful implementation is the result of a skilled and collaborative team.

I have taken benefits to market, presented new benefit options to Boards and successfully rolled out a new benefit plan to the company’s employees. With each new experience and team, I’ve discovered what’s truly needed for integrated payroll software and the soft skills needed for implementation. PayHub the cumulation of all my insights, learning, and frustrations that ultimately makes it easier for payroll professionals to do their job and keep their hair. With the advancements made in technology and the way we engage people in the change process, I am looking forward shaping the future of payroll!
