Hiring Right the First Time
Thursday, November 14 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
ATB Entrepreneur Centre, Grande Prairie
28 more seats available
Workshop attendees will learn best practices on making a great hire for their business-the first time. We will discuss deciding on what type of role to hire for, where to place advertisements, how to screen a stack of resumes quickly and accurately, referencing and what needs to go into an offer letter. We will also take a deeper dive into interview questions to see what you legally can and can not ask a candidate, using social media to help with hiring, plus how to get the answers you need to make a good hire. If you wouldn’t invest $40K in your business without doing some research, why would you hire an employee for $40K (or more!) without doing the right research.
