David Kincade – President, Alberta Business Grants
David Kincade brings a strong background in government grants. He is an expert in political process, having spent nearly a decade studying politics and working directly with politicians. This background provides clients with deep insight into why the government wants to invest in certain ideas and not others.
His career highlights include four years at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, where he held positions in the research department and as the executive assistant to the leader of the official opposition. He worked as an executive director in the agriculture sector, dealing with federal, provincial, and municipal governments. David has worked on several large and small-scale projects that have navigated through the governmental process – regulatory, environmental, public, media, legislative, and bureaucratic channels. David has helped his clients receive over $2 million in government funding.
He has instructed political science students at the University of British Columbia, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Grant MacEwan University. He speaks French and holds a Master’s degree in Canadian Politics specializing in media and public opinion.
