No matter how much we try, we sometimes must deliver bad news to our customer or our staff. Often it is possible to communicate the information with clarity and truth, without losing a customer or reducing morale. There are key strategies for delivering a negative message with integrity.

Pamela Scott & Annette Wierstra
Pamela Scott and Annette Wierstra met in the Professional Writing program at MacEwan University. After graduation and honing their technical and professional writing skills together at EPCOR Water for several years, they decided to start Scriptorium Professional Writing Services (www.scriptoriumpro.com) in 2009.
They started Scriptorium to create a business that can help companies through all stages of a documentation project from planning, development, and documentation management. They also develop and deliver customized writing and communication workshops and presentations for their clients.
Annette also has been teaching technical communication and other communications courses as a sessional instructor for MacEwan University since 2008 and more recently has been teaching writing workshops at Third Verb.
