Join TWT Group at the ATB Entrepreneur Centre for a Cyber Security discussion.

The IT industry is evolving at a rapid rate, and ransomware is becoming a rising threat for small and medium-sized businesses. Almost 50% of cyber attacks target smaller businesses. Of those businesses attacked, 60% will go out of business within six months.

SPECIAL GUEST: We are pleased to have Russ Altman Business Development Manager with TWT Group and  Shawn Freeman, the CEO of TWT Group. We know these resources will be of great value.

A report released by Osterman Research, which surveyed more than 1,000 SMBs, found that 22% of businesses with 1,000 employees or less have experienced a ransomware attack in the last year, and had to stop operations immediately. Fifteen percent of those businesses lost revenue and, on average, lost more than $100,000 per ransomware incident due to downtime.

What you’ll learn:

A realistic view of the threat landscape

Information you need to know to be sure you are protected properly

Where attacks come from (this might surprise you!)

How you can protect your company

You’ll get access to additional resources to take back

We’ll only keep you for an hour for the presentation and to give you enough time to ask questions to help you and your business stay SAFE from cyber attacks

This session is suitable for intermediate to advanced levels of entrepreneurship.
