Never written a business plan before? Heard horror stories of 100-page business plans? Fear not! Entrepreneur Centre Strategists, Alex Welsh and Catherine Glambeck, will walk you through the different components that make up a great business plan.
This one hour workshop will answer the “what”, “why” and “how” questions around business planning. At the end of this crash course you’ll be able to:
- Define the necessary elements of a business plan and how these pieces come together
- Understand the purpose of a business plan and how it can get a new business or idea on track
The Speakers: Catherine Glambeck and Alex Welsh
With her first hand entrepreneurial experience and diverse business background, Catherine brings her expertise and resources to local Entrepreneurs. She provides guidance with Ideation, Business Modeling and HR, with a specialty in all things Financial. Her favorite activities? Fair weather cycling and Salsa dancing.
Alex’s excitement for entrepreneurship made joining the team at the ATB Entrepreneur Centre a no brainer. Her mixed background in CSR consulting, business ownership and studies in business strategy allow her to offer out-of-the-box solutions to the challenges faced by our entrepreneurs. In particular, she loves talking business operations, strategy and community investment.
How does she make a personal impact? Alex sits on the Board of Advisors for AARCS and is puppy raising a future service dog for Dogs With Wings (find her at the dog park!)
