ATB Entrepreneur Centre Pop-Up: Exploring Entrepreneurship…is it right for me?
Wednesday, June 20 | 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
This event is being held at The Genesis Centre – Multipurpose Room B – 7555 Falconridge Blvd NE #10
The ATB Entrepreneur Centre is taking itself on a road trip! Please join us in our first of many pop-up Entrepreneur Centre experiences. This workshop will consist of networking, lunch, and an informative session facilitated by Business Link. We can’t wait to show you what the ATB Entrepreneur Centres are all about.
Exploring Entrepreneurship…is it right for me? Have an idea and considering starting your own business? We’ll help you discover if entrepreneurship is right for you and show you how to take your idea and make it a reality. We’ll help you assess whether your idea is viable, as well as provide you with the tools, resources and guidance to help you along the way.
The weeks following this workshop, an Entrepreneur Strategist and a Manager of Entrepreneurship will be set up at the ATB in Westwinds for appointments with entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs. More details to come!
Note: Lunch will be provided
The Speaker: Holly Atjecoutay
Holly is Cree and Saulteaux from Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan. She assists Indigenous entrepreneurs in central and southern Alberta regarding the startup and expansion of their small businesses. She connects them to helpful resources while also providing guidance. She also facilitates workshops and builds meaningful relationships in both rural and urban Indigenous communities.
Holly holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, so it is no surprise that in her spare time she enjoys reading, writing, and collecting books, and also authors a blog on the Indigenous Woman’s Identity. Holly believes the art of storytelling and communication is one of the key factors in building a strong business.
